People, outsiders, think he’s quiet, reserved, shy. They think he’s pretty and perfect and he goes along with that, even to the point of blushing, all the time smirking inside at what they would think if they knew the truth, if they ever got a glimpse of his true nature.

He hides it well, for the most part. Hides the power that crackles along his nerve endings when Jared is close to him, touches him, makes him laugh so hard his ribs hurt.

The blood in his veins turns to fire when Jared lightly rests a hand on the small of his back. Paradoxically, that same touch grounds him when the world tries to intrude into their lives a little too far. It gives him the strength to hold back, to keep in check the power that could burn an adversary alive from the inside out with no more than a look.

He likes the irony. On the show, Sam is the one who struggles with his demonic side, walks a fine line between darkness and light while Dean frets and worries. In reality, Jensen got a handle on his dark side a long time ago and has walked that line all his life.

His family gave him the strength he needed growing up to take what was a curse and turn it into a gift and now he has Jared, Jared who loves him for all that he is.

When they are alone, and Jensen lets down his guard, his eyes flare emerald bright as Jared stands on the far side of the room and undresses, teasing, slowly pushing his jeans down over his hips. There’s a challenge in the way the younger man looks at Jensen, and Jensen smirks, knowing what Jared wants.

He lets his gaze rake over Jared’s body, admires his rampant cock from where he stands, and smiles darkly as unleashes the power within him and Jared is assaulted by sensation, by unseen fingers and warm wet tongues dragging across his skin, wrapping around his cock and pushing deep inside him.
